The furniture you place on your patio will be determined by the function of the patio. If you want a space to gather and chat, you can find a wide variety of chairs and benches for seating, as well as small tables where drinks can be placed. If your patio is mostly a dining area, you can buy a table or two where dinner is served. A hammock, or even a bed would be appropriate if the patio will be a place to simply relax or take a nap in the afternoons. Obviously, you can use the patio for more than one function, and furnish it accordingly. Place a table and a few chairs at one end for entertaining, and a hammock at the other end for relaxing.
For all weather conditions, you want to consider teak furniture as highly suitable. Teak is water resistant, termite resistant and chemical resistant. With all these standard characteristics, teak furniture costs but is worth the price. What kind of patio furniture comes in teak? You may want to accentuate your patio with a teak bar table and chair. Enjoy a couple of drinks and laughs with your buddies or family outdoors! A teak seagull lounger comes as a seat but the back rest is quite low, almost reaching the bottom. This is a great lounge chair, an ideal spot to relax and steal a couple of minutes of sleep! You won't need to search for teak table and chairs. There are always many available, each with their different designs and styles. Even a simple teak bench comes in such beautifully carved patterns that it looks almost too grand to sit in!
